No 28: Susan finds an empty milk bottle in the fridge. Zeke apologises as he meant to throw it out, but Susan tells him it is great to have him home.
Susan presents Zeke with a list of things they can do together whilst he is back, but Zeke wonders why Susan is free and doesn't seem to have any pastimes any more. As Karl comes in, Zeke races off to take a phone call. Karl asks Susan
if she has noticed anything unusual about Zeke since his return. Susan admits she hasn't, although Karl points out Zeke's secretiveness.
No 30: The Rebecchi family are sitting at the table having their breakfast. Sonya thanks Toadie for preparing it and asks Callum, who is busy on the
laptop to leave it alone. Callum tells Sonya he doesn't want Josie to beat him n Dragon Prophecies. Toadie agrees with Sonya, before apologising for her not meeting the clients the previous evening. Sonya tells him it's ok, as she can
meet them next time. Just then, someone arrives at the front door: Toadie answers it and invites Naomi in, who is there to get a contract signed. Sonya runs off to answer the phone in the bedroom and Callum leaves the table. Naomi asks
if Sonya was ok about not meeting the clients. Toadie admits that she was but he wasn't ok about lying to her. Naomi explains she knew Toadie would feel that way, and gives him the number to a Chilean restaurant in the city, suggesting
he take Sonya there for dinner. Toadie thanks Naomi, who then asks for a favour in return. Toadie says he can't give her an advance on her salary, but before leaving, Naomi explains she has some boxes of things heading down from Sydney
and wondered if they could be delivered to the office. Toadie says he can live with that and Naomi leaves. As she does, Sonya returns, revealing to Toadie that Matt wants her at the police station and she thinks she knows what it is about.
Lassiter's Complex: Brennan is by his van when Paul marches over, confronting Brennan about why he is there and suggesting he leave Erinsborough as there
is nothing there for him. Brenna replies that the hotel guest whose car he fixed might not agree with Paul. Paul walks off, telling him to go, bumping into Naomi who runs over wanting to speak to Paul. Naomi reveals to Paul that Toadie wants
to speak to him regarding Kate's estate and invites him into the office later on.
Harold's Store: Whilst Karl is paying, Zeke is suggesting various activities to Susan, who admits she misses writing after the newspaper was closed. Karl can't
afford to pay, to the amusement of Susan and Zeke and Susan heads over to help. Just then, Callum sits down with Zeke and invites him to meet up with himself and Josie later; Zeke replies he has a few things to do, but asks Callum about his relationship.
Callum explains where he met Josie and then asks Zeke about his own relationship status: Karl and Susan, having heard the conversation listen eagerly from the counter. Zeke admits he is not in the market for a girlfriend, leaving Karl and Susan even more
suspicious. Zeke receives a text and tells them he has to go and meet a friend, before rushing off.
Lassiter's Complex: Coming outside, Karl is still trying to work out what is going on with Zeke, although Susan says it doesn't matter as they have more time to do
their own things. When Karl says he is unavailable to do something they had planned, Susan admits Zeke was right and she probably does need to find something to fill her spare time. Suddenly, they spot Zeke chatting to a man they don't recognise. Karl
wonders who it is, but Zeke spots them and comes back over, telling Susan and Karl it is just a mate from school. Susan points out that he didn't look familiar. Karl tries to probe further, but Zeke asks why he is being asked so many questions and heads
off, telling them he will meet them back at home.
Rebecchi Law: Toadie and Naomi are meeting with Paul. Toadie asks Paul if Kate had a more up to date will. Paul wonders why she would need one and Toadie replies
that she had one drawn up when she became guardians to Harry and Sophie. He explains that Kate left everything to Sophie, who has requested that all of Kate's belongings be sent to Sydney. Paul asks why Sophie didn't ask Paul herself, but Toadie
explains that she has tried and hasn't been able to get through to Paul lately. Paul angrily says he is not going to part with Kate's belongings as it shouldn't be happening: Kate should still be with them. He walks out, telling Toadie that Sophie
calling him is unforgivable and that Toadie has nothing to do with his family.
Harold's Store: Susan nearly walks into Naomi, as she is busy reading a leaflet. They apologise to each other, before Naomi reveals that she is having a tough day,
due to the earlier meeting with Paul. Susan sympathises and says that Paul doesn't have a very wide support network and frequently pushes people away. She suggests letting Paul charge through the china shop and tells Naomi to hope there are some
plates left over at the end! She wishes Naomi luck when dealing with Paul.
Lassiter's Hotel: Paul is telling the receptionist to donate a load of flowers to the nursing home. Naomi rushes over, although Paul tells her that he is to going to
continue the discussion started earlier about Kate's will. Naomi explains she didn't know Kate and doesn't really know him, but explains she knows that Paul is not trying to be difficult. Paul snaps back that she is right, as she doesn't know him. Naomi
goes on to explain about her father who died of a heart attack and Paul reveals that the same happened to him. Naomi points out that, because of this, she understands Paul feeling as though he needs to blame someone and wants to keep hold of Kate's
possessions. Furthermore, she suggests that Paul holds on to his memories instead of her physical things: she says that in the end, they are the only things that matter. Naomi offers to make his life easier and help him get started packing. She points
out that it is a Thankyou for putting up with Sheila for so long and genuinely wants to help.
No 28: Susan and Karl are still discussing Zeke, Karl wondering why Zeke wouldn't tell them who his friend was. Karl heads over to Zeke's computer, ignoring Susan,
who tells him that he shouldn't be on it, even though Karl explains he wants to email Rachel. Karl discovers a love letter, addressed to 'Vic' and Susan reminds him that it is none of their business. Karl jumps to the conclusion that Vic was the man
they saw Zeke talking to, and assume he is Zeke's boyfriend.
Rebecchi Law: Naomi brings coffees back to the office and reveals to Toadie they have consent to pack up some of Kate's things, explaining that she can return to
Lassiter's in an hour. Toadie wonders how Naomi managed to convince Paul, pointing out she has just about performed a miracle.
Lassiter's Complex: Brennan is jogging, remembering Kate as he sees the lake in the distance. Just then Sonya walks past; she explains to Brennan that she was taken in
for questioning about the assault on Paul. Sonya explains that nothing she said changed Matt's opinion that there is not enough evidence to take Paul's complaint any further. Brennan runs off, saying he doesn't really care about anything at the moment.
No 28: Susan is arranging flowers, explaining to Karl that Vic could be short for Victoria, although Karl is unconvinced. Susan asks why, if Zeke was gay, he wouldn't
tell them the truth: Karl suggests that they are not all as close as they would like to think. He adds that when Zeke and the man were seen together earlier, they could have been fighting because of Zeke's reluctance to tell Karl and Susan, in the same
way that Chris and Aidan did. Susan still thinks that Karl is jumping to conclusions and Karl suggests reading the letter on the computer a bit more, although Susan firmly says no, pointing out that Zeke's love life is his own business and that he will
tell them when he is ready. Karl tells Susan they need to get him to open up. Susan says fine, although adds she doesn't want to make Zeke feel uncomfortable.
Harold's Store: Over lunch, Paul thanks Naomi for helping him pack up Kate's possessions, and Naomi says she is there for Paul if he ever needs her. Naomi wonders
if Paul is regretting the decision, but Paul explains he isn't and that it would have had to have been done eventually. Paul goes on to say that he isn't angry at Sophie as she is just missing her sister. He adds that he wants the man responsible for
the shooting caught and wants the man responsible for bringing him Ito their lives also to pay. Naomi says that Brennan sticking around is out of Paul's hands as people tend to stick around when they have job, friends and family in the area. As
she says this, Paul looks thoughtful. Naomi goes to get more coffee and Paul makes a call on his phone, asking for a franchise that he wants to get started straight away.
No 28: Karl is reassuring Zeke that he and Susan are there for him if Zeke ever wants to tell them anything. Uncomfortably, Zeke thanks them and gets up to go.
Karl sits him back down and says that he doesn't often get a chance to say, but he and Susan love him and points out it is important that Zeke tells them things. Zeke says he is good and jumps up. Amused, Susan watches from the other sofa.
Rebecchi Law: Naomi, whose boxes have arrived, apologises for looking at personal things at work when Toadie comes out of his office. He tells her she is entitled
to five minutes, as she has put in so much overtime. Toadie apologises that he couldn't give her an advance because he has to watch his cash flow carefully, but Naomi explains she has a fall back plan if necessary. Toadie heads off to Harold's,
saying that he needs a coffee. After he has gone, Naomi opens one of her boxes. Inside is a cloth bag containing a painting. Naomi looks thoughtful.
No 28: Karl is still wondering why Zeke won't tell him and Susan anything. Susan suggests it is because Karl's theory is probably completely wrong and that Karl
trying to force Zeke to open up is not going to help, as Zeke is not ready to discuss it. Just then, Zeke comes into the kitchen area, although unseen he ducks back behind the door when he realises Karl and Susan are talking about him. Taking out
his phone, he calls Vic.
Lassiter's Complex: After running through Erinsborough, Brennan arrives back at the lake. As he does, Paul marches over again, telling Brennan that he has been warned
to stay off the property already. Brennan says he is not in the mood for another fight: Paul agrees that he isn't either. Paul asks why Brennan is still sticking around and Brennan explains he is still working in the garage for Danni. Paul says that he
isn't, as he has been to the garage and it was closed. He reveals he is not about this, as he is the future owner of Fitzgerald Motors. Shocked, Brennan asks what Paul means. Paul says that he has just put in an offer for the garage and the first thing
he is planning on doing is getting rid of Brennan. Incredulously, Brennan tells Paul he wants to be clear: not only is he shut out of the investigation he is going to lose his job as well. Paul walks off, saying he is going to take everything, and won't
rest until Brennan is gone - for good.
