Erinsborough Hospital: Georgia has examined Doug and explains everything appears to be fine. He gets up to go, but is stopped by Josh and
Georgia, as Georgia points out the large cut on Doug's forehead, which will need to be looked at by Karl. Doug urges Georgia not to worry Karl, although Georgia says that it is not a problem. Just then, Amber pulls Josh from
the room and reassures him that Doug will be ok. Josh persuades Amber to head off to work and Brad rushes in, looking worried. He asks Doug what happened, but Doug explains that he went for a wander, after having a few drinks
the night before. Doug brushes off his injury, but Josh is left unconvinced.
Lassiter's Complex: Paul leaves the police station and is thanked by Matt for coming in. As they get outside, Brennan arrives, causing Paul to
snap that Brennan has wasted enough police time. Brennan hands over a list of people that may have been responsible for Kate's shooting and, although Paul wonders why the list took so long, Matt points out that Brennan already gave
the names. Brennan urges Matt to focus on the suspects: Matt heads off, saying that if there is any connection to Kate it will be found. Paul angrily tells Brennan to leave the case to people who know what they are doing and warns
him to back off.
Erinsborough Hospital: Doug is charming Georgia, suggesting she stay while Karl sorts out his wound. Karl returns with Doug's results and
explains that everything is normal. Worriedly, Josh jumps in front of Karl as he goes to leave, asking him to check the results again. When Karl asks what Josh means, Josh reveals that Doug had said earlier that he was going
to meet Cody at "The Hungry Bite". Doug shrugs it off, explaining that this was what Harold's used to be called but, growing suspicious, Karl asks if Doug has had any other episodes similar to this. Brad jumps in, saying that
it wasn't an 'episode', but Karl nonetheless orders an MRI to be on the safe side.
No 26: Naomi is on the couch waxing her legs when Sheila arrives home, indicating that Number 26 does have a bathroom or, failing that, she could
visit a beauty salon. Naomi wonders why Sheila minds, especially as she is busy at self defense classes whilst Charlie's is being renovated. Sheila heads into the kitchen, pleased that Charlie's is back open in a couple of days. Just
then, Naomi receives a call, and is excited that everything has cleared, presumably the money from the painting. She lies to Sheila, however, explaining instead that a salon did have a space after all.
Fitzgerald Motors: Chris is annoyed with himself for thinking Montague was responsible for the shooting, wondering if it is his fault the case is
taking so long. Danni tries to reassure him, explaining that the case has to start somewhere and adding that at least the police have Montague. Chris is unconvinced, but Danni points out how big a deal it is, and says she can finally
get her life back. Chris tells Danni he is happy for her; Danni admits she still doesn't know how to feel about Brennan though. Chris explains that Brennan isn't thinkingstraight at the moment and Danni replies that she knows, although
doesn't know if she can be around him and isn't sure what she wants to do with her life. Chris asks her to come back to the garage, at least until he is back full time, and urges Danni to keep Brennan company at Number 24, giving him
another chance.
Lassiter's Complex: Down by the lake, Brennan is remembering his proposal to Kate and the subsequent shooting. Danni walks up and asks
Brennan how he is doing. She thanks him for getting Montague out of her life, but adds that Brennan shouldn't have treated her in the way that he did. Brennan apologises, but admits he would do the same thing again if it meant
that Kate's killer could be caught. Danni walks off, resigned to the fact that Brennan won't change his mind over his earlier actions.
Erinsborough Hospital: Josh is watching Imogen and Terese fuss over Doug. He tells them he is fine and Karl returns with the test results. Karl
asks Doug for a chat - Doug indicates the rest of the family can stay too. Karl explains nothing definitive has come out of the tests and reveals that they will need more information. Brad points out that Doug has been examined
all morning. Karl explains that it is not an exact science; Terese wonders what Karl is thinking. Karl urges them to talk later when he has more results, but Brad asks Karl what the possibilities are. The family are left in shock
when Karl says that Doug could be suffering from Alzheimer's Disease.
Erinsborough Hospital: A little later, Brad, Terese, Josh and Imogen are discussing the possible diagnosis, Josh pointing out that lots of recent
events could be explained by it. Brad tells Josh he is jumping to conclusions and says that they need to keep an open mind. Frustrated, Josh walks off and Imogen gets up to sort some fresh clothes out for Doug. Terese offers to go
with her, but Imogen points out that the previous day is over and she isn't going to hide away because of it. As Imogen leaves, Terese asks Brad what he is thinking. He replies that he needs to speak to Pam to see if she knows what
is going on.
No 22: Imogen is coming downstairs with a bag when there is a knock at the front door. She hesitates before answering it to find Brennan. He comes
in, telling her that he hoped she would answer as he wants to apologise for putting her in danger with Montague. Imogen becomes upset and reveals Doug's diagnosis at the hospital earlier in the day. Brennan points out that the
Willis family is strong and that they can make the most of their time, which is not nothing. Imogen says that Brennan is right and leaves him thoughtful when she says there is always something you can do.
No 26: Naomi returns from a shopping trip, leaving Sheila to wonder where Naomi got her money from. Naomi says that it was from a friend who paid up a debt
and shows Sheila a bag she bought for her. Sheila admits she likes it, but says that she hopes Naomi kept the receipt as she will need to take it back. Naomi wonders why Sheila isn't grateful, but Sheila retorts that Naomi should be living
within her means. Naomi angrily storms off as Chris hobbles in. Sheila snaps that he needs to take the look off his face that he gave her.
No 24: Brennan is on the phone urging the police to look into various aspects of the case. becoming annoyed, he hangs up, just as Danni returns home.
She tells him to make the time to speak to him, beginning by saying that he is a good guy, but that she can't live like it any longer, as she needs stability. Brennan tells Danni that he will chill out, but Danni doesn't believe that
Brennan can stick to it. She adds that, because everything is so volatile, she is going to leave Erinsborough. Brennan says she doesn't need to, but Danni responds that she has made up her mind and that there will be a new manager
appointed at the garage. Before leaving, she says that she hopes Brennan finds closure soon. Once she has left, Brennan picks up the phone to call in a favour.
Harold's Store: Amber is looking at photos on her camera when Josh arrives. He explains what Karl believes Doug is suffering from. amber apologises
for leaving Josh earlier and asks what exactly the diagnosis means. Josh says that Doug doesn't deserve it and the family have been through so much. Amber reassures Josh that the Willis family will get through it and Josh apologises for
hurting Amber in the past, admitting that he is glad she is there. Josh vows to make everything up to Amber.
Erinsborough Hospital: Brad and Doug are chatting about the past, Doug joking about the situation, saying that some things need a laugh. Brad tries to
test Doug by suggesting they have a family get together on the Gold Coast, but Doug points out Brad will have to do better than that as he remembers the details of the holiday perfectly, and it wasn't on the Gold Coast. Brad apologises,
and Doug urges him to relax as things will get back to normal. Just then, Pam calls to see how Doug is, and Brad tells her that Doug is fine.
Fitzgerald Motors: Brennan arrives, finds a load of bags under a tarpaulin and loads them in the back of his car before driving off.
Erinsborough Hospital: Brad and Terese are outside Doug's room when Karl comes along, explaining that Doug's results should come back reasonably
quickly as the testing process has been fast tracked. Brad says that they don't need the results as Doug is definitely not suffering from Alzheimer's and that, after talking to Pam, he is convinced that there is nothing at all wrong
with Doug. Karl points out that it might be a good sign, but that nothing is yet conclusive. Brad replies that what Pam said is conclusive enough for him. Karl explains that he found it difficult when his own father was diagnosed
with Alzheimer's and offers a second opinion when Brad wonders whether Karl's judgement is being clouded by his own experiences. Brad points out that Doug has just had a few random forgetful moments and Brad asks Karl to start testing
for other conditions, stating that Doug does not have Alzheimer's.
No 26: Naomi answers the phone and becomes agitated, telling the caller not to call again as she has done nothing wrong and 'it' belongs to her.
No 24/Cemetary: Paul takes flowers to put on Kate's grave. He stands looking thoughtful. Meanwhile, Brennan is emptying the bags he collected
earlier, which are full of police files. Before long, they cover most of the floor and surfaces of Number 24.
