• Paul tries to get Brennan to steal some files to get justice for Kate

No 24: Paul is trying to convince Brennan to steal some files to get a lead on Kate’s case but Brennan is reluctant as
if he got caught he could be charged. Paul manages to appeal to Brennan’s need to find Kate’s killer and Brennan asks him to get some information on the storage place – he isn’t saying yes yet but it looks hopeful to Paul.
No 30 - Back Garden: Toadie has bought Callum an iTunes voucher to congratulate him on his competition placement. Callum would rather be
making his own apps and is upset as Sonya won’t talk about his scholarship. The mentorship to the gaming studio is something Callum really wants to do, it would mean moving schools and country but he is enthusiastic about it.
Callum is resigned to the fact he won’t be going as it isn’t the right timing. Callum thanks Toadie for the voucher and goes for a walk.
 
No 28: Karl calls out to Susan to see where she is. He is going into the bedroom when Susan and Holly jump out to surprise him. They are happy with
their surprise until Karl clutches at his chest and sits down on the sofa… but it turns out he is playing a trick back on them and he is fine really! They all laugh and Holly gives Karl a big hug, they missed each other. Susan
organised the visit for Karl with Izzy in secret.
No 30 - Back Garden: Naomi has popped round to talk about Toadie’s work schedule and asks if he is still coming to the Waterhole later to watch wrestling.
He has forgotten about it and would like to go but he can’t go as they have a lot going on. He explains about Callum’s win and Naomi is encouraging and says he must be proud. Toadie is proud but he doesn’t think Callum will be going as Sonya
is refusing to discuss it. Naomi and Toadie talk the situation through and she tells him he should discuss it with Sonya again.
 
No 24: Sonya is explaining to Brennan about her position on Callum going overseas. She thinks he is too young and she is breaking his heart by not letting him
go. Talk soon turns to Paul being at Brennan’s house and Brennan explains he is going to help him out. He has a lot of resources that will help Mark. Sonya tells Mark that Kate wouldn’t want him to break the law and he should listen to
his conscience.
No 28: Holly asks Susan why Karl stopped dying his hair. Susan explains that he was trying to make himself feel young but then remembered it doesn’t matter
what other people think. Being happy is the most important thing. Karl comes into the room after setting up Holly’s room for her and Holly goes to get something she has bought for him. Karl tells Susan how happy he is. Holly has bought Karl
a t-shirt that says “world’s coolest dad” and says he can wear it at the beach, and at horse riding… and rock climbing! Susan has to leave to go to work. Holly tells Karl he is cool as he is always up for trying new things. Holly asks him
to play her his new songs.
No 30: Toadie has arranged a baby sitter for Nell as he thinks they should all go out and celebrate Callum’s win and talk about it. Sonya is still reluctant
for him to go but Toadie tries to talk her round. Sonya thinks there will be other opportunities and refuses to discuss it further. Sonya tells Toadie the decision is made and she won’t talk about it anymore, she is cancelling the babysitter
and they aren’t going out. Toadie is left looking annoyed.
 
No 28: Karl is playing Holly his songs and she starts singing along – she has been listening to the songs he sent her on CD. Karl tells her she has a wonderful
voice. Karl says he is proud of her and she obviously gets her musical talent from him! They sing together again to Karl’s song.
No 24: Paul has brought the storage facility plans over to Brennan. Paul thinks security will not be tight there but Brennan explains he is going to go in during business hours
as he knows from being a police officer how much paperwork they have and the shortcuts they take in these places. Brennan refuses to break in. Paul shows him where the information is located on the plans and then has to leave. Brennan is feeling uneasy about
it but looks at his photo of himself and Kate and remembers why he is doing it.
Harold's Store: Callum is on the phone to Sonya telling her he is staying at Josie’s for dinner. He says he isn’t mad at her and he just wants to spend time with his
girlfriend. They end the call and as Callum leaves he bumps into Karl and Holly. Holly explains why she is here and Karl tells Callum she nearly gave him a heart attack but Holly tells him to stop talking like an old person. Holly apologies to
Callum for being bad last time she was here. Karl explains about Holly’s musical talents and Callum mentions about the competition Georgia is judging and Karl pushes Holly into doing it. Holly explains she just wants to spend time with Susan and
Karl. Karl says they can add it to their list of things to do as she is a star and should be in the competition.
 
Ramsay Street: Sonya is caught by Susan who explains she is sorry she didn’t give her advance notice of Callum’s competition win. Sonya is stand offish with
Susan and Sonya tells her she isn’t happy. She was only ok with the competition as she didn’t realise this would be the end result. Sonya tells Susan she has put them in a really awkward position. Sonya won’t hear anything other than her view
that Callum is staying at home. She is angry with Susan and tells her to support him through his VCE whilst he is in Erinsborough as he isn’t going!
The Waterhole: Toadie comes to meet Naomi to watch the wrestling. Naomi asks about the Callum situation and Toadie explains that Sonya isn’t listening at all.
They are both terrified of losing Callum but Toadie thinks he should go. Naomi asks whether Sonya feels she has more say in Callum’s future as she is his biological mother. Toadie says that isn’t the case and they are on the same team when it
comes to Callum, but he is left looking concerned.
Fulton Storage Facility: Brennan enters wearing a suit and asks the clerk, Lester, whether he can access some paperwork. Brennan doesn’t have the right form
completed to authorise access so he gives a cover story and asks if he can go through anyway as he knows how much paperwork it will cause Lester. Lester goes to check with his boss.
No 28: Karl and Susan are discussing the Callum situation. Susan wishes she had handled it better. Susan sees the leaflet for the talent competition
and Karl explains Holly is entering and will win first prize! He tells Susan that Holly has a lovely voice but Susan thinks it’s added pressure and she doesn’t want to be doing it whilst she is on holiday. When Holly comes in they ask
her whether she wants to do it and she says she does. Karl tells her they will practice after dinner and Holly says she can’t wait it will be so much fun.
 
Fulton Storage Facility: Brennan is told that he isn’t allowed in without the relevant paperwork. He tries to talk Lester round but is told to leave. Lester
answers the phone and turns his back to check something so Brennan takes the opportunity to sneak into the archive rooms. He finds the right door and locates the file he is looking for quite quickly but hears footsteps and is stopped in his
tracks when someone tries the door handle to the room his is in…
