Recap
• Paige is confused by Brad and Lauren's relationship
• Naomi is reluctant to identify her stalker
• Kyle and Georgia spot a man on the CCTV at the builder's yard
• Holly identifies the man as Victor Cleary
• Karl tells Kyle that he has to take this information to the police

Erinsborough Police Station: After double checking the date with Kyle, Matt asks if the pile of mulch is still at the yard. Kyle explains that it's gone now, and he can't say where it was delivered to, but Josh might know. Matt says that he'll speak to Josh next, and shows Kyle out of the interview room - Kyle asks if he thinks this Victor Cleary is linked to Kate's death. Matt says that Kelly is questioning Holly, and they're doing background checks on Victor. He adds that they'll be looking into the connection with Paul too.

Eclipse Apartments - Paul's Penthouse: Paul tries to avoid answering, as Matt asks him if he knows of Victor Cleary. Matt then asks if Paul is familiar with the Cleary name, and Paul says that it's all on police record. Matt asks if it's true that Paul once confessed to Gus's murder, and Paul says that he was never charged as he wasn't in his right mind when it happened - but Matt points out that Victor may have seen things differently. Matt wonders if Victor might have killed Kate as some sort of revenge, but Paul doesn't think it's possible and tries to act like it's all just a ridiculous theory. He agrees to go and make a statement, but looks extremely worried as Matt turns and walks away.

Harold's Store: Paige tries to add a raspberry friand to Brennan's bill, pointing out that he had one for the last two days, so he clearly wants one today. He doesn't want it, but she finally persuades him and Lauren is impressed. Paige says that you have to be persuasive when your job is selling stuff, and adds that Brad was very good at selling his yoga classes when she went to see him. She asks how Brad and Lauren know each other, and Lauren says that he's an old friend - and he and his family live opposite her on Ramsay Street. Meanwhile, Josh and Amber walk in, talking about Bailey. Lauren rushes over to Amber - who's annoyed as Paige and Josh wave at each other across the room - and asks if she could help Paige with a stocktake for a couple of hours. Amber reluctantly agrees.

The Waterhole: Sheila is annoyed that Paige is still making light of the self-defence classes, and says that after that night she was spooked, she started these classes knowing that one day they might save her life. Naomi thinks that her mum is being a bit over-the-top, so Sheila tells her about another time, one night years ago back in Frankston, when a guy grabbed her - she managed to fight him off, but it scared her and the incident last year brought back some bad memories. Naomi asks why on Earth she was walking around on her own at night, and Sheila says that she was looking for Naomi, who had snuck out of the house again. Naomi suddenly feels guilty, and Sheila hopes that she can now understand why they have to take self-defence seriously.

Rebecchi Law: Naomi bursts in, telling Toadie that she's just been speaking to her mum and she feels awful about everything she's put her through. Toadie tells her to calm down, and it looks like she's about to tell him that the stalker is fake, but then he says that he won't judge her. He hugs her and her face lights up.

Erinsborough Police Station: Matt apologises for keeping Paul waiting, and says that they've spoken to Izzy, who's confirmed that she went out with Victor a few times and they spoke about Gus, though she didn't realise until later that he was Gus's brother. Paul asks if he can go now, still refusing to believe what's happening, but Matt says that it all seems to be adding up, and that Victor may have taken Kate away as revenge for Paul taking Gus. As Paul walks out, he starts to have flashbacks to the fire, but quickly snaps out of it and walks away. Josh then walks over to Matt, and gives him a list of the three places where he remembers delivering the mulch.

Harold's Store: Amber is talking Paige through the stocktake, and Paige says that they got off on the wrong foot, and maybe they could make a fresh start, as they all need to be around each other quite a lot. Brennan interrupts, asking if he can put up an ad looking for a housemate. Paige then tries to change the subject to Brad and Lauren, telling Amber that the families seem close, and she even thought they were a couple when she first arrived. Amber says that they were, but it's a long story, and they need to start counting the stock. As Brennan puts up the ad, Kyle walks in - he and Georgia are talking about the mix-up with the pavers delivery and that it all led to the police getting a new lead in Kate's case. Brennan overhears this and wants to know exactly what's going on.

Eclipse Apartments - Paul's Penthouse: Paul is leaving a message for Izzy, blaming her for everything and demanding that she call him back right away. He starts having more flashbacks to the fire, and then Brennan walks in and says that he's heard about the new lead. He wonders if Paul's known about this all along, but preferred to watch Brennan feeling guilty and taking the blame. He tells Paul to take this more seriously, and to hand over any information to the detectives - adding that if Kate's gone because of Paul, he'll never let him forget it.

Harold's Store: Amber and Paige are still bickering about the stocktake, and Paige asks Amber why she's still so annoyed about her flirting with Josh. She suggests that Amber should look at herself, if she's so insecure about her relationship - Amber says that she doesn't need advice - or anything else - from Paige, and nor does Lauren. Paige asks why Amber has to be so over-protective towards Lauren, and Amber says that she's been thought a lot lately. Lauren then arrives and catches the end of their argument, telling them to get on with their work.

Rebecchi Law: Naomi is lamenting her lack of success at internet dating and singles' nights, and says that maybe she's attracting nobody because she's nothing. Toadie starts to shower her with compliments, and says that any guy would be lucky to have her. Sheila then turns up, wanting Naomi to go to the police station and make a statement, as there's been a new development in Kate's murder case, and it could be the same person who's stalking Naomi. Naomi tries to play it down, saying that she doesn't want to waste police time, but Toadie agrees with Sheila.

Harold's Store: Toadie is buying some flowers, and Lauren asks him if he's feeling guilty about something. He says that he's just trying to cheer up Sonya over Callum's imminent departure, and Lauren apologises and says she was only teasing. Josh then comes in and tells Amber about the police search down at the hospital - they leave together. With Amber gone, Lauren asks Paige what they were really arguing about earlier. Paige says that she may have called Amber a 'guard dog' and Amber said that Lauren's been through a difficult time lately - she asks if it's true. Lauren explains that, recently, she went looking for someone she lost a long time ago, and didn't find her, and it took a huge emotional toll on her and the family. Paige asks if she's still searching, and Lauren says that she realised that it was best left in the past.

Erinsborough Hospital: Amber and Josh arrive at the hospital and wander over to the search site, with Amber still talking about how annoying Paige is. She asks Josh if he likes her, and he admits that he does - but he loves Amber.

Harold's Store: Lauren has been taking a catering order over the phone, and she hands it to Paige to put in the order book. Paige notices a drawing, and asks Lauren about it - Lauren explains that it's just something she does; she draws a picture of what she thinks the caller looks like. Lauren notices Paige's odd mood, and apologises if it's because of Amber, but then Paige breaks the news that she might be leaving Erinsborough sooner than planned. She explains that she needs to follow Lauren's lead, and leave something in the past and move on.

Lassiter's Lake: Paige sits on a bench and gets out her sketch book, comparing her own sketches to the one on Lauren's order form. Meanwhile, Paul walks by, still tormented by the day's events and suffering flashbacks to the fire.

No 24: Brennan reads an online article about the Lassiter's fire and Gus's death.

Erinsborough Hospital: Kyle and Georgia join Josh and Amber, as they watch the police search. Suddenly, something is found, and Matt takes a look and tells one of the other officer to contact the ballistics team.

Eclipse Apartments - Paul's Penthouse: Matt tells Paul that they've found the gun used to kill Kate, and with the other evidence, it's very likely that Victor was the one who killed her. A stunned Paul sits quietly, only speaking to confirm that he heard what Matt said.
