• Paul heading off to meet Victor Cleary

Lassiter's Complex/Warehouse: Matt comes out of the police station and meets Brennan, who has had no luck finding Paul. Brennan asks if Matt has traced Paul's phone, fearing that Paul is out of his depth. Matt tries to calm Brennan down, although cannot deny that he is also worried. He heads off to continue the search, urging Brennan to contact him if he discovers anything about either Paul or Victor. Meanwhile, Paul is still waiting for Victor.

No 28: Libby is having breakfast when Susan heads over to the table, feeling ill with a cold. Karl brings over some coffee and urges Susan to go back to bed as she clearly has a fever. Susan wants to go in to work, worried that the school won't run without her, but Karl suggests Libby hold the fort and Libby agrees, telling Susan that she will recover more quickly having rested for the day. Susan checks that Libby is absolutely certain, then agrees to the suggestion.

No 26: Kyle gets off the phone, after another regular customer cancels Kyle's services. Chris comments that things will pick up when Kyle reveals the reason for the cancellation was that he was away from Erinsborough for too long. Chris asks how bad things are, but is interrupted by Georgia who is just arriving home. Georgia greets Kyle and Chris heads off, joking that he is feeling nauseous by their rekindled relationship. Georgia informs Kyle that she has the day off, but he replies that he is needed at he school as his contract is due to be renewed that day. He asks Georgia to wait there, and heading off, calls back that they can chill out later on.

Erinsborough High: Libby walks along the hallway and is immediately accosted by a teacher, who says that he needs a special chair as his chiropractor is insistent. Libby explains that she hadn't been told about it, but before getting a chance to help, he walks off, saying that if nothing is done, he'll be contacting his union. Libby spots Sonya, who asks how Susan is when Libby informs her she is ill. Libby explains that it is just a nasty cough and Sonya asks Libby to sign some paperwork to do with Callum's move to the States. Kyle heads over before Libby gets a chance to go into the Principal's office and asks what jobs need doing: Libby explains she doesn't know, but will look for a list on the desk. Just then, Imogen rushes across explaining there is a problem with the girl's toilets. Libby rushes off to sort it out taking Kyle along with her.

Warehouse: In the warehouse, Paul is waiting for Victor, who announces his arrival by kicking a can along the floor. He looks up to see Victor descending a staircase and walking towards him through the shadows. Paul tells Victor that he doesn't like to be kept waiting: Victor retorts that he had to make sure Paul was alone. Paul replies that he is, and goes towards Victor, who tells him that he is close enough.

Lassiter's Complex: Brennan is still trying to locate Paul, speaking urgently into his phone. Just then, Matt bursts out of the police station, revealing to Brennan that Paul's phone has been tracked and that it hasn't moved for a long time. Brennan tries to become involved, learning that Paul is in a factory complex, but Matt brushes him off, telling him he hasn't got time to discuss and argue the details.

Warehouse: Paul asks why Victor targeted Kate and Victor replies "Why Gus?". Paul explains that he didn't realise he had done it, as he wasn't himself back then, suffering from a brain tumour. Victor points out that Paul still did it, and although Paul says he wasn't right in his head, Victor disputes it, revealing Izzy told him otherwise. Victor adds that Gus was a good man and would have helped him on trial, but he didn't turn up, meaning that Victor had to rot in prison by himself. Victor blames Paul, who retorts that Izzy would say anything to get a man's attention. Victor tells Paul that he loved Gus and that Paul never paid for what he did and that, when he was released from prison, he looked Paul up, discovering a photo of him as mayor. Victor says that what Paul did was not right and, worried, Paul says he wants to end things once and for all, showing Victor a bag of cash with which he could start a new life. Paul throws it on the floor in front of Victor, who explains that he doesn't want Paul's money. Paul wonders what Victor does want; Victor replies he is enjoying watching Paul suffer and, over the months he observed him, came to realise how much Paul loved Kate. He adds that's why he selected Kate. Angrily, Paul tells Victor not to dare mention Kate's name, but mockingly, Victor simply says "Kate" several times, telling him every time Paul think of her he will remember. Paul takes out his gun, but is pushed to the floor as Matt and the police arrive to arrest Victor.

Erinsborough Police Station: Paul, Matt and Brennan are in the interview room as Victor confesses to Kate's murder. Victor apologises to Brennan, saying that Kate's murder wasn't about him, but Brennan retorts that it was as Kate was taken away from him. Matt asks why Victor came out of hiding, and Victor explains he realised he was running out of time. He says that he left the note on Kate's grave so he could see how broken Paul was. Victor tells Brennan. To never let Paul forget and to make him suffer for the rest of his life. He chuckles with happiness as he sees the pain etched in Paul's face.

No 26: Georgia is telling Chris she doesn't know what is going on with Kyle. She doesn't understand why Kyle didn't seem to want to spend time with her, but Chris replies that, based on the noises he hears at night, that can't be true. Georgia wonders if her freaking out over the Facebook photo has caused a rift, although Chris replies he thought the whole situation had been sorted out. Georgia worries that by bringing up trust issues she has ended the 'honeymoon period'. Chris asks Georgia to consider the possibility Kyle's behaviour has nothing to do with her. realising Chris knows something, she walks over to him and forces out the explanation that Kyle is having financial difficulties.

No 28: Karl is preparing a lemon drink for Susan, in a good mood due to the arrivals of Holly, Libby and Ben. He sits next to Susan, telling her he is glad that Libby could fill in for her. Susan is grateful for Libby's help although as she goes to call her to check everything is ok, Karl removes the phone from her hand urging her to finish her tea and have a nap.

Erinsborough High: Libby is called by Kyle, who wants to know where he stands with his role at the school. Libby tells him she will have to ask Susan: just then, Imogen comes over again, this time with a petition of students, who are not happy with the vegetarian. Options provided by the school for lunch. She tells Imogen she will get back to her, as the teacher from earlier comes downstairs, looking uncomfortable from back pain. Libby manages to escape into the office and tries to ring Susan, ignoring the insistent knocks of the teacher at the door. Susan, who is at home sleeping, can't answer the phone, causing an harassed Libby to begin to panic. A little later, Libby is trying to fend off Kyle, Imogen, Sonya and the teacher, and silences them all with a curt "Enough". She gives Sonya the paperwork she wanted, tells Imogen there will be a meeting with the canteen the following day, tells Kyle he will have to wait for Susan's signature and the teacher that he will need a doctor's note as she thinks he is making up his pain to get a nicer chair. She then tells them all that she has a school to run, pointing them to the door.

No 26: Kyle arrives home telling Georgia that work was fine. She jumps up, explaining that Toadie and Sonya need some jobs done. She adds that she also needs a wardrobe door to be fixed and adds that he would be paid. Kyle wonders why he would charge his own girlfriend and realises that Chris has revealed to Georgia his financial situation. Kyle becomes angry, thinking that he is now considered a charity case, and storms off. Chris warns Georgia to leave him and can't understand how Georgia could have been so tactless.

No 28: Karl thanks Matt and says he will let Izzy know. Libby returns, worried that Susan didn't answer her calls. She explains that there were a few minor disasters at work, explaining how she was victorious in the battle with Mr McGuire, the moaning teacher. Karl says that dinner is almost ready and that Ben is on his way: Libby heads off to freshen up. Once she has gone, Karl comments that Libby is obviously enjoying her role and that it might give Libby a new purpose, encouraging her to stay in Erinsborough. Karl suggests Susan take longer to recover, meaning that Libby is required to fill in for longer, but Susan explains Libby's job is only for three weeks and that she is not comfortable pretending to be sicker than she is. Susan forcefully tells Karl she is not going to go along with his plan.

No 30: Brennan is playing with Nell when Sonya returns. She asks Brennan what has happened, and Brennan reveals that Victor Cleary has been caught and confessed to Kate's shooting. He replies that he thought of going to Sonya's house first, because he needed reminding that there are good people left in the world.

Eclipse Apartments - Paul's Penthouse: Matt tells Paul that Victor has been formally charged. He says Paul needs to make a statement, although under the circumstances it can probably wait. Matt adds that Paul will need his own lawyer to attend to the other issues, such as the illegal gun. Matt reminds Paul that actions have consequences, but Paul sadly points out that he doesn't need to be reminded of that. Matt wonders if Daniel is home as Paul shouldn't be alone, but Paul replies he isn't and doesn't want Matt to call him. Paul tells Matt to go, leaving Paul thoughtful about what has happened that day.
