No 26: Jim is at the kitchen table, doing some engineering work, as Helen returns from putting Lucy to bed. There's a knock at the door - Jim answers, and a man named Steven Prince introduces himself and explains that he's come to speak about Paul. Helen immediately recognises him as a journalist from a gossip rag, and Steven tells them that he's going to write this story, whether they co-operate or not. He explains that he's going to be writing about Terry, her past and how she ended up shooting her own husband - Jim warns him that he'd better have every fact correct, or Paul will sue. Steven then mentions that he knows that the Robinsons could use the money, and the paper will pay very well. He suggests that they talk it over before making any decisions, but then Paul arrives home. Steven introduces himself, but when Paul hears what he wants, he grabs him by the arm and throws him out of the house, warning him that he'll kill him if he prints the story. Jim apologises to Paul, but says that Steven had to hear that from him, as he wouldn't have given up otherwise.

No 28: Des arrives home, surprised as Zoe launches herself at him and congratulates him on the wedding. After finding out who Zoe is, Des is annoyed that Daphne has been telling people about the wedding, as it was supposed to be a secret. Zoe says that she's not just anyone, she's Daphne's best friend, but Des wonders why Daphne has never mentioned her. Daphne says that she tries to forget the day they met, but Zoe just sits Des down and says that she wants to know all about him.

No 24: Clive is using Madge's phone, as his hasn't been connected yet, to make some arrangements for the following day's gorillagrams. He thanks Madge, and says that she's a very nice lady and reminds him of his aunt. Madge is flattered and says that it was very nice to meet him. As he leaves, Clive says that they should have a barbie once he's settled in - Madge smiles and says that she'll tell Max.

No 28: Zoe has been telling Des some stories from Daphne's past, much to both of their discomfort. She then declares that they're going to have a wedding to remember, whether they like it or not. Des, however, disagrees, and tries to get away from Zoe, who follows him around the room and then says that she doesn't have anywhere to stay. Des comments that it's been very nice getting to know her, and he now considers her a close friend - so he can tell her to butt out of the wedding. He storms off to bed, but Zoe just laughs.

Ramsay Street: The next morning, Max is working in his van, when Paul stops by to say hi. They see a couple of women walking into number 22, and Max is intrigued about what's going on in that house. Paul, however, says that he's happy for the new neighbours to keep to themselves.

No 28: Des and Daphne kiss and make up after the previous evening's argument, but his smile fades when he learns that Zoe stayed in the spare room last night. She then appears, joking that Des seems a bit less grumpy this morning, then she steals his orange juice and proceeds to mention the wedding again. Daphne says that it's still going ahead, but it'll just be her, Des and Eileen - Zoe invites herself, but Daphne uninvites her.

Ramsay Street: Max is alarmed to spot Clive, dressed as a gorilla, leaving the house with the two woman dressed up as chickens. Max wants to know what's going on, and Clive explains that it's a chook-a-gram at the airport, for a famous soccer player. Max can't believe that this sort of business is being run on Ramsay Street, telling Clive that the street was named after his grandfather. Clive says that they'll have to get together and talk about that some time, but for now, he has to go.

No 28: Zoe is heading out to look for a job and somewhere to stay, with Daphne offering her luck and Des handing over her bags and ushering her out the door. Daphne stops them, and asks Zoe what she's going to do without any money. Zoe insists that she'll be fine, but then Daphne asks Des if Zoe could stay in the spare room, at least until the wedding. Des agrees, and a delighted Zoe throws herself at him again. She then heads off, and Daphne thanks Des and tells him that she loves him.

No 26: Helen is doing a sketch of Douglas Blake, which she quickly covers up when Paul walks in. She answers the door to Eileen, who's brought Madge to visit some of the neighbours. Madge is surprised to see Paul, who she hasn't seen since he was 16 - Helen goes to put the kettle on, and Eileen starts digging for information on how Paul is dealing with recent events. He quickly makes his excuses and leaves, and Eileen comments to Madge that it was such a tragedy, but she always had her doubts about Terry. Helen returns and asks Madge how things are going at the Ramsay house - Madge says that Max is obsessed with the new resident of number 22 and his gorillagram business - he's renamed it The Ape House! Eileen mentions to Madge that she used to work as Max's housekeeper, and says that it's so hard to find a good marriage these days. She hopes that Des will find someone who's perfect for him, like Daphne, though even she has a difficult background. Madge mentions the murder accusations against Daphne, and Helen says that it must be difficult for Daphne, as the gossips just don't know when to let up. Helen then returns to the kitchen, with Madge and Eileen realising that she was having a dig at them.

No 28: Paul arrives for a visit, and Daphne is happy to see him out of hospital. He asks her what she really thought of Terry - Daphne says that Terry was a lucky girl, to have someone like Paul. She admits that she did genuinely like Terry, and she believes that Terry did genuinely love Paul. She then asks what happened that day - Paul explains that he found the gun, and he was threatening to call the police, so Terry shot him. He says that he still isn't sure whether she intended to kill him, but he's decided that he's never going to trust another woman again - though he doesn't include Daphne in that, and he apologises to her for the way Terry used her. He then says that Shane's very lucky to have someone like Daphne, but Daphne tells him that she and Shane aren't together, though there is someone. She hugs Paul, telling him that she hopes he'll be happy again one day too - just at that moment, Eileen and Madge walk in the back door, and Eileen is stunned.

No 28: Moments later, Eileen is ranting at Daphne about how she's supposed to be marrying Des - she and Madge say that they'll come back later. Paul insists that they'll calm down, and asks Daphne about her and Des. She says that it's true that they're getting married, though it was supposed to be a secret. Paul says that he'll make sure Des hears the real story before Eileen gives her version of events, and he says that it was a great day for everyone when Daphne moved into Ramsay Street.

No 26 - Lounge: Eileen is telling Helen about the Clarke curse - but Helen thinks that they should just go and speak to Daphne before assuming the worst. Paul then walks in, and Eileen tells him that she was horrified by what she saw. Paul, however, says that he'd just found out about the wedding and was kissing Daphne to congratulate her - Eileen believes him, but is disappointed that so many people are finding out about the wedding, as she was enjoying the secrecy. Paul tells Eileen that she owes Daphne an apology, while Helen is still shocked about Des and Daphne getting married.

No 24: Max is having a beer and watching TV, when Madge waltzes in and changes the channel, talking about that young girl who's living with Des, and how they just caught her kissing Paul Robinson, when she and Des are meant to be getting married. Max thinks his sister's got her wires crossed, as Daphne is crazy about Shane and would marry him if he asked. Madge simply says that Max clearly knows very little about the street he lives in.

Ramsay Street: Clive arrives back, with the two chicken women who clearly aren't very happy with him. Max then walks over and says that the residents of Ramsay Street aren't very happy with the way he's turning it into a zoo. Clive explains that he and the girls have just been out to the airport on a wild goose chase, they haven't been paid and the last thing he needs is a bunch of complaining neighbours. Max reminds him that this street was named after his grandfather, but Clive tells him that he had to move out of his last place because of a guy just like Max and he won't let it happen again - he tells Max that they'll all get along just fine, if Max stays out of his business.

. . .

No 28: Eileen is apologising to Daphne for jumping to conclusions, and for telling Madge about the wedding. Daphne insists that it's fine, and if the Robinsons want to come to the wedding, that's fine too. Eileen starts asking about Shane, but then Zoe and Des arrive home, and Eileen promptly shuts them out while Daphne hides the wedding dress. A delighted Zoe then meets a confused Eileen - but then Daphne says that Eileen has something she needs to tell Des. Eileen explains that she accidentally told Madge, who told Max, and Helen also knows... Daphne butts in and says that the whole of Ramsay Street knows.
