When Robert Robinson went missing, after holding his father Paul hostage in a disused mine, the family came up with a plan to entice him out of hiding. Realising how much Robert hated Paul, they liaised with Constable Mark Doney to put an article in the local newspaper, announcing that Paul would be remarrying Robert’s mum, Gail. The plan worked and, as the fake wedding took place at Lassiter’s, Robert appeared and shot his dad, who fortunately was wearing a bullet-proof vest.
