When estate agent Paige Smith put 24 Ramsay Street on the market for Chloe Brennan, Theo Isheev accidentally put the for sale sign outside the house too early, meaning that her housemates found out that she was selling before she had the chance to tell them. The following week, as four other houses on Ramsay Street suddenly went on the market at the same time, Paige called on Theo to get the signs up all on the same morning, and he was happy to help, hoping it would make up for the mistake that he'd made the week before. Paige was very grateful, but the residents of Ramsay Street were surprised to find out about the mass exodus, particularly Karl and Susan Kennedy, who were the only ones who weren't selling up.

A few years later, Theo was amongst the crew who were working on sprucing up the reception area at Lassiters hotel. With Acting Manager Chelsea Murphy determined to get hotel owner Paul Robinson all to herself, and aware that his ex-wife Terese Willis was a threat to that, she took action to try and stop her regular visits to the hotel reception to look at a plaque in memory of her late son, Josh. After seeing that the plaque had been taken down, Chelsea cruelly put it amongst the rubbish and watched as Theo unwittingly took it away with him to dispose of it.

• Theo is named after the nephew of Neighbours' Script Producer, Shane Isheev
• At the time of his appearance, Theo was thought to be last new character to ever be introduced to the series
