Recap
• Doug Willis arriving to visit his family, then offering to show Josh the building trade
• Karl reassuring Chris there was nothing he could have done to save Kate
• Imogen planning a celebration event for Kate's life down by the lake
• Paul warning Susan that the event won't happen and telling her not to go against his decision

Ramsay Street: Susan rushes out of Number 28 to catch up with Paul, telling him he is not being fair. Paul wonders whether Kate losing her life was fair. Susan says that dictating everyone's grieving process won't help anyone, but Paul retorts that he will be the judge of how he grieves for Kate. Getting into his car, Paul once again says the event won't happen, despite Susan advising that the event might actually help Paul.

Erinsborough Hospital: Susan is telling Karl about what happened with Paul, although Karl points out that Paul has just lost a niece. Susan explains how other people need help to get over what happened, indicating both Brennan and Chris. Adding that she wakes up hoping its a dream, Susan once again says that everyone needs the event, and she wonders why Paul is unable to see that. Karl suggests Susan tackle things differently, pointing out Paul is only stopping the event because it is at the lake. He suggests a different venue; Susan replies that holding it at the lake is important for the children who wat to be able to feel safe going there again. Before he leaves, Karl says he thought the idea was to celebrate and honour Kate. Meanwhile, Georgia is tending to Chris, who is on the phone with Brennan. After hanging up, Chris tells Georgia that Brennan is going back to work. Chris asks Georgia if she has heard anything about the investigation. She replies that she hasn't and tells Chris not to feel guilty about things. Chris laments not being able to stop Montague and Georgia replies there is nothing Chris could have done. Just then, Sheila arrives with pyjamas, slippers, underwear and a book for Chris. Georgia says how thoughtful Sheila is. As Chris is due an MRI, Sheila goes to head off, asking if he knows anyone that can finish a job for her. Chris says he doesn't and Sheila leaves, urging him to call if he needs anything or can think of someone to help her. Before Chris is wheeled away, he tells Georgia that she is the only one he can talk to, as his parents made him feel worse earlier on and he hasn't had a chance to speak to Hudson yet.

Ramsay Street: Doug and Josh are unloading wood from the car in the driveway of Number 22. Doug is explaining how everything is about precision and detail, although Josh retorts he doesn't know how detailed a shoe rack needs. Just then, Lauren comes out of Number 30: Doug calls over, much to Lauren's delight. The two hug and Lauren asks if Pam is with him. Doug replies it is just him, and he is here to support Josh through his rough patch. Lauren wonders where Doug was when Mason was going off the rails a couple of years ago, leaving Doug looking a little confused and upset. Brightening up, he suggests a Willis/Turner family barbecue, although Lauren says she is very busy. Before getting in the car, she suggests Doug visit Lou, who is inside, feeling upset as he was away when Kate was shot.

No 32: Lou and Doug hug, saying how good it is to see each other. Lou asks how Pam is, commenting that he can still remember the arguments they used to have. Doug replies she is still as cranky as ever! He adds that he is sorry to hear about Kate: Lou explains that he still can't believe it, as he knew Kate since she was a kid. Doug urges Lou to start up making batches of ginger beer like they used to, as keeping busy will help Lou through things.

Harold's Store: Imogen is pointing out to Susan that she has planned the event and to move into the school would mess this up. Susan says that she knows moving it to the school means the event won't carry the same weight, but adds that Kate touched a lot of lives there. Callum, who is next to Susan, says it doesn't matter where it is held as the event is all about remembering what a great person Kate was. Susan says she will ask Lauren to put a sign up in Charlie's and suggests to Imogen they use the Lake setting for something further down the line. Paul arrives and overhears the plans; he walks over to the table and tells Susan he has already said that the plans are not to go ahead at the lake. Susan tells Paul that the celebration has now been moved to the school as it is what the community wanted. Paul wonders why they are not thinking about what he wants. Susan explains it is important and he can't stop it: Paul angrily says that he can make things difficult, before walking away.

Erinsborough Hospital: Chris video calls Hudson, who asks why Chris hasn't answered his previous calls. Chris replies that his MRI took longer than expected, but that his surgery is scheduled for the next day. Hudson tells Chris that he hopes everything goes well, although Chris explains he doesn't want to go back to the house where Kate was. Looking nervously around, Hudson explains he has to go as the twelve minutes they get are over. Chris wonders how that can be as the call has only just started, but Hudson replies that Chris wasn't there. He just has time to tell Chris he misses him before a prison officer turns the computer off. Chris sadly says to a blank computer screen that he misses Hudson too.

Harold's Store: Amber, Bailey, Imogen and Callum are still trying to come to terms with Kate's death, continuing to organise the celebration, Callum saying he hadn't handed in his assignment and Bailey commenting that Kate had said she was looking forward to having him in her class next term.

Erinsborough Hospital: Karl and Georgia are talking about the song Georgia is planning to sing at the celebration. Georgia hands Karl a letter, telling him that it is from Paul's solicitor, who is planning to sue for breach of contract should she sing. Karl points out how ridiculous it is, suing someone for honouring his niece, but Georgia says that she gets how Paul is feeling, obviously not coping with the situation. Karl retorts that the event is not about Paul, however.

No 32: Doug and Lou are preparing to start brewing. Lou explains he has forgotten what the equipment does: Doug replies it only involves a little common sense and that Lou should trust him. Sheila arrives, telling Lou she is looking for Matt. Lou says that Matt is working shifts and is unavailable. Sheila tells Lou she was hoping Matt could finish a job for her, as she has heard that Matt is good with his tools. Sheila wonders what she is going to do, but Lou tells her not to worry, introducing her to Doug who explains that he used to be a builder. Sheila tells Doug that she knows where Brad gets his looks from now and leads him to the sofa telling him that he is perfect and is going to give him a list of all the jobs she needs done.

Lassiter's Complex: Paul marches over to Charlie's, which has fencing around it and workmen busy inside. He asks what is happening, and the workman replies that he is there to refurbish the bar, adding that some psycho trashed the place inside. Paul asks on whose authority they are there, and the workman replies that it must be the owner's. Paul retorts that he is the owner and the psycho who trashed the bar, leaving them both wondering who authorised the work. Paul spots Terese heading towards Harold's and dashes over to catch up.

Harold's Store: Paul rounds on Terese asking how she got the plans for the refurbishment. Terese replies that the plans were already rushed through the council and she only had to give the green light for the work to start. Paul tells Terese she had no right to doit, although Terese replies that she was doing her job as she is the manager and is looking after Paul's business affairs until he is in a fit state to do so himself. Paul explains there is nothing wrong with him: Terese replies that they can't keep Charlie's as a shrine to Kate and that it needed to be fixed. She adds that going around attacking everyone and being angry is not helping, Paul suggests that maybe he doesn't want to be helped and that he is happy the way he is. Terese replies that Paul can't mean that, but Paul angrily retorts that he just said it. Paul is left thoughtful when Terese points out how loved Kate was in the community and how she deserves much better than what Paul is giving her.

Erinsborough High: In the school grounds, Imogen is busy setting up speakers when Susan walks over asking how things are. Imogen replies that they are nearly ready, although is horrified when she spots Paul heading over. Susan rushes over to warn Paul not to cause trouble: he just sadly says he can't believe she has gone and expects to hear her when the phone rings or the lift comes up. Paul stares sadly at the photo of Kate that has been erected and asks where Brennan is. When he is told Brennan isn't there because he would find it too hard, Paul explains that Kate's death is Brennan's fault. Susan tells Paul she hopes that he will stay, but begs him not to cause trouble and spoil the celebration for everyone else. she heads off, leaving Paul standing sadly, thinking about Kate.

Harold's Store: Doug and Josh are chatting about the brewing, although Doug spots that Josh seems distracted and unfocused. Josh reveals that he is thinking of Amber as he is missing her because of her photography internship. Doug explains he is relieved as he thought Josh was distant because of him. Doug mentions the work he has to do for Sheila causing Josh to look at his watch and rush off to Kate's celebration. Doug tells Josh he will see him in a couple of hours!

Erinsborough High: Chris is filling Georgia in on his call with Hudson earlier on. Georgia apologises, but tries to cheer Chris up by saying she will see him the next day before his operation. Chris asks Georgia how she is: she says she is trying to decide what to do about the song. Karl comes in and asks Georgia if she is ready - Georgia tells Karl she is and will see him there.

Erinsborough High: At the event, Callum is reading a tribute to Kate, saying how much of a friend she was and how much she made him realise the importance of family and having someone to look out for you. As he steps down, Imogen asks Susan and Karl where Georgia is, as she is supposed to sing her song now. Karl gets up and, telling the crowd the song is from Georgia, begins to sing. As he does so, Susan heads over to Paul and puts her arm round him as his grief overwhelms him and he begins to cry. Georgia arrives and, seeing Kate photo, also becomes very emotional.

Erinsborough Hospital: Georgia is telling Chris she couldn't go through with the song without Paul's consent. She says that, no matter how badly he is treating people, she couldn't disrespect him, as he is hurting badly. Georgia says that she is glad Karl sang the song, as she felt connected to Kate and explains how lucky she was to have both Kate and now Kyle in her life. Georgia asks if Chris got in touch with Hudson again, although Chris admits that his call was rejected and that Hudson probably doesn't want to speak to him. Georgia tries to reassure him, although Chris laments having no one to talk to, questioning why Hudson is cutting him off. Chris worriedly asks if he has to deal with big things by himself for the next four years and points out to Georgia that so much can change over that amount of time. Chris asks Georgia if she would wait four years for the man she loved; when Georgia admits she can't answer that question, Chris pots out that neither can he.
