Recap
• Danny tells Maria he won the diving competition to please max not himself
• Helen is unhappy when Jim doesn’t respond to Lucy’s call for help about a problem at school. Lucy makes reference to Jim going through a mid life crisis
• Helen listens as Carol Brown blames suffering from dizziness for her condition and tells Helen she is angry her children were taken from her
• Daphne reassures Julie that she is & Des are only friends
• Max refuses to believe that Danny has a job at the supermarket
• Carol Brown is mugged and Danny goes to help but is suddenly being accused by Carol of mugging her. Scott & Danny flee from the scene

Park: Danny & Scott stop running and rest. Scott questions what happened but Danny explains he just went to help Carol and then she started to accuse him of mugging her. Scott isn’t happy that they’ve off for no reason but now look guilty.

No 24 - Lounge: Maria opens the door to find two police officers who ask after Danny’s whereabouts. Maria concerned calls Max who recognises the male officer as Sgt Hawkins, having met him at a footy function. Sgt. Hawkins tells them he wants to speak to Danny regarding an incident at the shopping mall earlier.

No 26 - Driveway: Helen & Jim joke about the police being outside the Ramsay’s but Helen wants to talk seriously about Jim spending time with Lucy to find out what is bothering her. They are interrupted by Max who tells them Danny & Scott are in trouble.

Park: Danny looks out for the police as Scott tries to reason they should go home. Danny refuses, believing Carol has set him up. Danny begs Scott to lie he saw Danny just helping and Scott reluctantly agrees.

No 26 - Lounge: Max defends Danny and Helen too is convinced of their innocence. Scott & Danny arrive and they are both told they have to go to the police station with their parents due to their age for questioning. Max argues but Sgt. Hawkins patience is tested as he tells Max this is a serious crime that needs to be investigated.

Police station - Front desk: Scott with Jim by his side tells the duty officer his name & address. The officer warns Scott he cannot speak to Danny from here on.

Police station - Interview room: Danny denies he attacked Carol and explains the money he had on him was due to the work he did at the Supermarket. Max jumps to Danny’s defence but is unhappy to hear that Danny is friends with two well-known thieves Gary Reynolds & Dino Travelli. Sgt. Hawkins wants to start again with his questions.

Police station - Front desk: Having finished with Danny making a statement, he and Max emerge from the interview room. Sgt. Hawkins asks Jim & Scott to follow him to be interviewed.

Police station - Interview room: Scott lies how he saw Danny walking towards Carol to help her and Scott confirms this again as the truth. Scott claims he ran from the scene as he just panicked. Sgt. Hawkins tells Jim he is going to charge Scott & Danny and it is then over to him and Max to keep an eye on their sons as they’ll have to await a magistrates decision on the case due to it being their word against Carol Brown’s.

No 26 - Kitchen/lounge: Helen awaits news and is upset to learn Scott & Danny has been charged. Jim blames Danny for attracting trouble and getting Scott involved. Scott upset goes to his room. Helen is less than pleased with Jim’s handling of the situation.

No 24 - Kitchen: Max is confident he can resolve the situation by going to see Carol Brown and mentions that even if it does go to court Scott is a witness. Maria doubts Max should visit Carol but he is confident he can sort things. Danny thanks his father for supporting him before going to bed. Shane decides to go to bed too. Maria thanks Max for standing up for Danny.

No 24 - Danny's bedroom: Danny tells Shane how amazed he is that Max stood up for him and Shane makes Danny admit he may have been wrong about Max.

No 30 - Porch: Max explains he is prepared to sue Carol unless she retracts her accusations but Carol upset pushes Max out of her house claiming Danny is guilty.

No 24 - Danny's bedroom: Shane is disappointed that Danny was stupid enough to be involved with criminals like Reynolds & Travelli when Max comes in. He tells Danny that until the issues is cleared up he is taking Danny to school & Shane will pick him up so no one can try and blame him for anything else that happens in the neighbourhood. Danny agrees seeing how protective his father is being towards him.

No 30 - Kitchen: Sgt Hawkins tries to make Carol understand that Max’s earlier visit was out of concern for Danny but Carol calls it as a threat. Sgt Hawkins asks again if she could have been mistaken that Danny attacked her but Carol again claims he did. After the police leave, Carol smiles to herself.

No 24 - Lounge: Sgt Hawkins tells Max that his decision to see Carol looks like he threatened her and to stay away from Carol as it will hurt Danny’s case further. After they leave Maria thanks Max for supporting Danny. Jim arrives and Max suggests they both get a good lawyer for the boys and start by using the fact they found Carol drunk. Jim reluctantly agrees before going home. Shane leaves for a lesson on how to coach toddlers in the pool and Max takes the chance to explain to Danny he is going to hire a good lawyer but it is so he can get him off and stop Maria being hurt. Max almost admits he believes Danny is guilty. Danny is devastated.

No 26 - Lounge: Scott is preparing to go to school but Jim notices he doesn’t look so well and Scott tells him he didn’t sleep good and kept dreaming. Scott lets slip that he kept dreaming about how he first saw Danny crouching over Carol and Jim demands to know if Scott lied to the police that he saw anything before that. Scott admits he lied but he did it as he is convinced Danny is innocent. Jim tells him that he is going to call the police so Scott can tell the real truth. Scott protests but Jim asks for Sgt Hawkins.
