Mia tells Oliver that she has got her feelings for him out of her system, but he hasn't and kisses her. Steph is worried about the bad omens, thinking that everything is falling apart. Frazer reassures Toadie that Steph will enter the church any second. Outside, Steph pauses to take a few deep breaths. Toadie waits for Steph at the altar.

Inside the church, everyone waits anxiously for Steph to enter. After a long pause, the doors open and she walks up the aisle. At the altar, she greets Toadie and the service begins.

At Lassiter's, Oliver is dealing with some workmen when Mia comes in, noticing Chloe is strapped to his chest. He tells her that he had Chloe for the day, but was called into work. Mia gives him an invoice for the month's deliveries and he asks her if that's all she wanted. She claims it is, but mentions that she was wondering why he hadn't called. He tells her that he was satisfied with her services and obviously dejected, Mia leaves. He follows her, apologising, saying that he wanted to call her and she wanted to do the same. A woman exits Lassiter's and congratulates them both when she sees Chloe, not realising Mia isn't the mother. Mia tells him that she doesn't think a relationship with him would be worth the hard time he would give her, believing that he had just flirted with the other woman. Oliver says that he wasn't and walks away.

At the church, Karl finishes reading Susan's speech. Rosie feels ill and runs out of the church and Rebecca runs after her. Toadie begins making his vows, saying that he loves everything about Steph and that he can't wait to spend the rest of his life with her. Unable to speak, Steph requests the copy of her vows. Despite this, she continues to stutter and apologise, blaming her nerves. Toadie begins to think that isn't nerves, despite Steph's trying to assure him that it is. She asks for water, but Toadie tells her that he knows she doesn't want to do this and that they're pulling the plug on the wedding. He storms off, leaving Steph at the altar.

At Charlie's, Rosie tells Rebecca that it was stuffy in the church and she just had to get out. Obviously knowing the truth, Rebecca says that with her, she had cravings for mango juice. She then asks Rosie if she wants a boy or a girl, claiming that she guessed because Rosie had "the look." Carmella and Marco arrives, saying that Rebecca called them to say that Rosie wasn't feeling well. Carmella tells Rosie that she looks pale and Rebecca realises that Rosie hadn't told anyone yet. Rosie admits that she is pregnant and Carmella is ever excited at the prospect at another little Cammeniti running around. She tells Marco that they better get started on having another one as they couldn't let Rosie steal their thunder. Marco looks very nervous.

Back at the church, Libby tries to console a sobbing Steph. She cries that she wanted to marry him and can't understand why she didn't just say it. She thinks it's too late and now she's humiliated him in front of everyone, he doesn't want to speak to her and she doesn't blame him.

Karl speaks to the audience, telling them that Toadie and Steph have things to work out and they would appreciate everyone staying. In another room, Angie asks Toadie why he has called off the wedding, defending Steph's nerves as "pre-wedding jitters." She warns him not to let Steph get away from him. Big Kev directs her out of the room and says that she isn't helping. Frazer tries to comfort him, but Toadie says that he is fine. Karl enters, once again stating that Steph was just nervous and thinks that Toadie is overreacting. Toadie doesn't believe him and insists that he isn't getting married. Valda comes in, telling him that the guests are getting restless and Karl warns Toadie not to make a hasty decision.

Outside, Frazer is on his mobile to Rosie, asking how she is and telling her about what has happened at the wedding. Karl and Valda walk out of the church, unsure if Toadie will change his mind and conspire to get Steph to talk to him.

Inside, Steph enters the room and asks Toadie how they can fix things. She begs him to go out and just get married. However Toadie doesn't believe that Steph wants to get married and tells her that the wedding's off. Angrily, he tells her that whatever he thought was between them never existed and tells her to send the guests home.

At Carmella and Marco's apartment, Mia arrives and tells Oliver, who is looking after Chloe there, that he isn't shallow. She apologises for what she said, saying that she normally attracts losers and because of it, she offends decent guys when she doesn't mean to. However, she knows that Marco and Oliver have issues with each other, so doesn't want to ruin their relationship before it has even begun. Oliver tells her that Carmella and Marco are out at the minute and kisses her, just as Chloe throws up on his shirt.

Back at the church, everyone waits anxiously and despite Libby's offer, Steph decides to speak to them. She says sorry for making them wait and says that there isn't going to be a wedding. She invites them back to Charlie's anyway, before walking down the aisle and out of the church.

At Charlie's, everyone discusses the disastrous wedding. Frazer tries to publicly announce Rosie's pregnancy but she stops him, threatening to hurt him. Declan enjoys all the snacks, much to Rachel's disgust. Valda arrives with a message from Steph, who wants them to know that she is okay but that she has paid for the party, so they should enjoy themselves. Valda doesn't want to talk about what happened at the wedding and starts offering drinks.

At number 28, Angie tries to figure out why Toadie called off the wedding, saying that he wasn't thinking straight. She tells him not to mope around because he called it off in the first place and thinks that he is making a big mistake. Toadie tells them to go home, promising to call them and Angie and Big Kev head home. Karl tells Toadie to call Steph, but he is interested and goes to get a beer from the fridge.

At number 32, Steph worries about how Valda is coping at Charlie's and begins to discus the wedding with Libby. She says that she lost her nerve, but that she got it back and he wouldn't let her fight for their relationship. She wonders how she could break her best friend's heart. Libby argues that she loves him as a best friend, but Steph disagrees, saying that she loves him as the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with.

Back at Carmella and Marco's apartment, Mia dries Oliver's shirt. He emerges from the bedroom, thanking her but she tells him that it is still too damp to wear. They decide not to do anything in Carmella's place, but can't help themselves and begin kissing on the sofa, just as Carmella and Marco walk in.

At number 28, Karl and Toadie talk. He doesn't believe that Steph loves him and thinks she only agreed to the marriage to make him happy. Karl argues that Steph is a strong, smart woman who wouldn't allow herself to be pushed into marriage. Toadie tells him that there is no point trying to argue because there is no coming back from this - their relationship is finished.
