Gary Denham 2011, 2012, 2013
Occupation: Real Estate Agent

When the council decided to sell the community gardens, estate agent Gary Denham was the auctioneer on the day, with the winning bidder being Sonya Mitchell, who turned it into her own nursery. Later that year, Gary was also attempting to find somewhere for Dr Karl Kennedy to live, but after showing him an apartment in the city, Karl was reluctant to commit to anything, much to Gary's frustration, as he was still hoping that he might patch up his marriage to Susan.

In 2012, Gary was the agent when 32 Ramsay Street went up for sale, but he faced problems when Tash Williams, the daughter of the house's owner Michael, refused to budge, doing her best to put off prospective new owners. Later that year, Gary was the auctioneer when 24 Ramsay Street was up for sale. Lucas Fitzgerald was desperate to own the house where he'd been lodging for the last couple of years, but ended up beaten by a last-minute bid from Ajay Kapoor. Lucas then went on to buy 32 Ramsay Street instead.

The following year, Gary was the auctioneer when the final apartment at Lassiter's' new Eclipse Apartments development was being sold. Lucas was once again involved in the bidding, but, as he only found out about the auction at the last minute, he was unable to contact his partner Vanessa to discuss the matter. In the end, he went ahead and bought it, and Vanessa was shocked when she found out what he'd done - and how much he'd paid. In order to help pay for the apartment, Lucas was forced to sell number 32, but was worried when only two people arrived for the first viewing. At the next viewing, Lucas went along, trying to find out from Gary what they could do to get some interest in, but was in for another disappointment when nobody at all turned up to view the house.

A month later, the auction went ahead, with only a couple of bidders - Paul Robinson and Betty Warren. Paul's aggressive bidding soon put Betty out of the race, and although it was below the reserve price, Lucas told Gary to go ahead, but at the very last second, Vanessa arrived. She told Lucas that her estranged husband had offered her $100,000 for a quick annulment, meaning that they'd be able to keep up with the mortgage and could keep the house on - Paul was furious, but Lucas announced that the auction was cancelled.
