Who moved here: Lisa Elliot, Gail Robinson
Who came from here: Ian Chadwick, Elle Robinson, Robert Robinson, Cameron Robinson
After meeting her birth father Ian Chadwick, Gail Robinson, heavily pregnant with triplets, left to live near him in Hobart, Tasmania when her marriage to Paul ended. Gail then gave birth to Elle, Robert and Cameron, all of whom, along with Gail, visited Erinsborough in 2006, with Elle making it her permanent home. In 1997, after giving up teaching, Lisa Elliot scored a research job at the University of Hobart and left Erinsborough.
Launceston
Who came from here: Joel Samuels, Brenda Samuels, Bernie Samuels, Claudia Harvey, Harold Bishop
Who moved here: Harold Bishop
After being washed off some rocks, Harold Bishop ended up in Launceston, Tasmania, suffering from amnesia. There he worked for the Salvation Army and befriended troubled Claudia Harvey. In 1996, Harold returned to Erinsborough, where Claudia visited him. Also from Launceston were the Samuels family, though son Joel had spent time travelling in Europe with his triathlon career before ending up in Erinsborough.
In 2005, a 40s-themed joy flight to the Lassiter's casino in Launceston was organised, but a bomb on the plane exploded over the Bass Strait and the passengers never made it to their destination.
