Angela 1985

After persuading Danny Ramsay to have his birthday party at the community hall, with no adult supervision, Pete Sherwin and his mate Duffer used the event to deal drugs, while Angela and her friend Carol spent their time flirting with Danny and his friend Scott. Angela also brought her own alcohol and the girls encouraged Danny to drink and to smoke a joint. As the evening went on, the girls got nowhere in their attempts to get closer to Scott and Danny, and whilst Carol suggested that, if he wasn't interested in her, then Scott must be gay, Angela ran off to be sick in the toilets.

A couple of months later, Angela was doing some babysitting for Joan Langdon one day, trying to raise some money to go to a concert the following week. It was the first time Angela had done any babysitting, and she managed to mess up badly, when she allowed Joan's children, Rodney and Susan, to go with a man who arrived at the door, asking to see them. Joan was horrified when she came home and heard what had happened, but as Angela explained that the kids seemed to know the man, and were happy to go with him, Joan realised that it had to be Geoff, her ex-husband and the children's father, who had recently returned to town.
