A schoolfriend of Danny Ramsay and Scott Robinson, Eddie Sherwin, along with Danny, caused trouble for Scott when he started secretly dating Kim Taylor. Eddie and Danny followed them around, spying on them and secretly recording their conversations, which Eddie then edited together into a completely different conversation, which made it sound like Scott was joking about being the school rapist, and that Kim had paid him for sex. Unfortunately, Danny was listening to the tape on his headphones at school, when he was caught by Kim's mother Marcia, a teacher, and made to play it to everyone. A horrified Kim ran from the classroom, and Marcia was appalled by her daughter's antics. Eddie caused further problems a few days later, when he and Danny were in a second hand shop, and Eddie shoplifted some cassette tapes, coercing Danny into doing the same. Unfortunately for Danny, as they left the shop, he was stopped by a security guard, but Eddie got away.
